Secluded Seating Area
This client had a corner of his garden that was not being used and he needed a little inspiration and some ideas on how to develop the area. After an initial consultation it was decided that a quiet secluded seating area surrounded by varieties of flowering shrubs would be a nice addition to the garden where he could sit and relax with a nice cup of tea.
All the old paving slabs were removed and re-laid around the edge of the garden to make hedge cutting and pruning easier. Then a full hardcore base was put down in preparation for the 2.5m diameter catherine wheel patio to be laid on a full mortar bed.
The whole area around the paving was dug over and soil conditioner was added to provide a good start for the new shrubs that were being planted. Some new edging was laid to create and contain two gravel paths for easy access to the patio from either side of the garden.
